Shopping With Vuitton
Once again, I am at a loss as to how to judge.
I like this bag, really I do. It’s the Globe Shopper Cabas from Louis Vuitton, made of a unique cotton-canvas material that is both attractive and hardy. The trim is cowhide and the sides are adjustable so that you can make this tote as large or as small as required.
Now, you may have noticed the rather huge mustard-yellow Louis Vuitton logo on the front — that whole retro thing is extremely fashionable right now, so kudos to Louis & Co. for staying up to date.
The thing is — it <i>is</i> such a large logo. And yes, usually Louis Vuitton have their logo all over the purse, so I suppose it’s quite nice and restrained of them to only have it on the front, even if it is, as I said… <i>huge</i>.
When all is said and done — it’s unique. It’s jaunty. And hey, it’s Louis Vuitton. You know what you’re dealing with here, folks!

I really do like this bag. I bought one (different color) for my wife for our once-in-a-alifetme trip to the South Pacific. Now I will admit the pirce is a little (???!!!) steep, and a plain canvas bag would serve as well, but, well . . . . it’s once in a lifetime, right? She loves the bag, carried it everywhere, and everyone noticed =)
