Fendi Gold

fendi-gold.jpgThis glitzy little purse from Fendi is just perfect for the party season.

Called the B. Fendi Pleated Gold Shoulder Bag, this coated leather purse has a wonderfully retro look to it.

The brushed metal hardware and pleats add to the metallic mirror-like style of this bag.

A lovely Christmas gift!

Fendi, To You!

fendi-haircalf.jpgFendi are well and truly getting into the spirit of the season with this distinctly odd-looking purse – the Haircalf Convertible “To You” Bag.

I say “odd” simply because it is one of the most retro purses seen this year – the double mosaic is deliciously eighties in a way that hasn’t been seen since… well, the eighties!

At the end of the day, this is a Fendi purse – even if the style isn’t strictly to your taste, the gorgeously soft calfskin and suede and leather patchwork is almost too luxurious.

Trendy, Fendi and lots to spendy!

Ancient Fendi

fendi-palazzo-print.jpgThis unusual-looking purse from Fendi has been made in honour of Fendi’s flagship store in Palazzo – hence the lovely print design and gorgeous classic bronze look.
It’s the Fendi Zucca Leather Boston Bag with Palazzo print, a decadent-looking purse with the classic Fendi Zucca-print on canvas and metallic trim.

The whole design is meant to bring old Italy to mind, and it does that splendidly. If any fashion house has a right to be immensely proud of their heritage, Fendi has earned that right by continuing to bring out beautifully crafted purses through fashion rain and fashion shine.

This bag would be a very special Christmas present – or simply a well-earned investment treat to buy for yourself!

Fendi Bucket

fendi-bucket.jpgThis funky little number is the Large Leather Bucket Bag from Fendi.

Made of soft, creamy black leather, the Bucket Bag has brass hardware and very fine top stitiching indeed.

The handle is a very cute twisty affair and there’s an adorable drawstring closure too. Made with all the care and attention to detail you would expect from Fendi, the Bucket Bag has FENDI stamped firmly on its bottom, just to remind people shorter than you of what remarkably good taste you have.

Unique and very in right now!

Floral Fendi

fendi spy crepeFendi have updated their classic immortal Spy Purse with this lovely seasonal offering.

It’s the Coated Crepe Satin Spy Bag, a gorgeous addition to the Fendi family – made of a beautiful satin with floral, thorny print, braided handles made of leather and… a secret pocket!

It’s no surprise at all that this purse keeps going and going… most It-Purses fade away as soon as the celebrity of the day stops using them… but this is one that clearly is not going anywhere soon.

Go on, you deserve it!

Vintage Fendi

fendi denim spy purse There are It Bags, and then there are the hardcore covetilicious must-have die-hard purses, and the Fendi Spy is firmly in that camp.

Like the Chloe Paddington or the Balenciaga Le Dix, it is just not going to go anywhere anytime soon – instead, we have newer, fresher versions coming up season in and season out and they only seem to become more and more wanted.

The purse pictured is from Fendi’s Spring collection – it’s the Embroidered Denim Spy Bag, an absolutely stunning purse made of denim, cotton canvas, lux lining, crystals hand-sown into the design itself, leather and the Fendi sign moulded into the whole vintage look.

The vintage look itself is going to stay with us until Fall – surprising, because that will make almost a whole year of vintage throwbacks in terms of fashion.

This Spy is one of the seasons most striking ‘popular’ purses, so watch how fast it sells out after a few more pictures are printed of the Lohans’ and Bartons’ proudly displaying it.

Gorgeous, luxurious, and almost painfully cool…

Fendi-licious

fendibucketbag.jpgThis adorable little purse/handbag/ tote/pouch-type-thing is the Selleria Bucket Bag from Fendi.

Made of beautiful Selleria leather, this bag can expand on the sides if you need it to be more roomy. It’s lined with velvet and comes with a Fendi plaque proudly stamped onto the front. The lining is a soft suede and the hardware is all silver.

This is a real leather-lovers purse — it’s made using very old-style craftsmanship with typical Fendi attention to detail.

Also available in gold, but this soft lilac colour is by far the prettier. A gorgeous, unique purse from Fendi.

Trendi

fendimetallicgold.JPGI think that today, in honour of the festive season, ArmCandy should spread some cheer and all-round goodwill. Today, we are giving that goodwill to those controversial Italian fur-celebrators and leather-makers at the ever-luscious House of Fendi.

Now, those of you paying attention may recall one ArmCandy referring to a certain Fendi bag as being "One of the most disgusting things ever created".

Well today, we’d like to feature a Fendi bag that is neither bizarre nor atrocious — I am talking, of course, about the Metallic Mini Chef bag pictured here.

It’s made of a meltingly soft leather, with gold hardware and a zucca-print design, a nice comfortable shoulder strap and a chunky Fendi logo swinging away. It also comes in a very funky metallic lilac.

Considering that Fendi bags are among the most faked purses in the world, I would really love to see how anyone pulls off an accurate representation of this one. It’s so detailed and carefully made that anyone even attempting it would have a real job on their hands.

This purse is just about decadent enough to make a lovely gift and not quite decadent enough to blow a crater into your bank account.

Two thumbs up to Fendi – or, perhaps I should say, two mince pies. Well done!

Fendi Bender

fendiclutch.JPGIt’s not often that I consider myself baffled by a purse, but today, I must confess to feeling a little bewildered.

We’ve had something of a clutch theme of late, so I thought it would be perfect timing to talk about this clutch from Fendi. It’s only recently that I realised it was a clutch at all (it also comes with a gold chain handle, this caused a bit of confusion).

Well anyway… Jesus, I don’t know where to start. The leather itself is absolutely beautiful… soft nappa in cognac brown. Very scrunchy and fun, I’ll give it that.

Unfortunately, and I’m sure this is just me, it reminds me of something unpleasant you’d see on the street after a few people had trodden on it. I think you know what I’m talking about here.

I’m as open-minded as the next girl when it comes to ‘different’ designs, but I honestly cannot connect with this purse. Frankly the white rabbit fur one was much nicer.

Stop playing around, Fendi!

Fendi, Fendi, Fendi

Another day, another reason to get ever-so-slightly mad at Fendi. If Fendi were a person, they’d be in need of a good hard slap across the face right about now. See, Fendi is like that one friend you have who treats you like gold 99% of the time — but every once in a while they will do something so mind-bogglingly mean or stupid that you resolve never to speak to them ever again. Then all of a sudden they’re wonderful again and you’re left confused — <i>do I like this person or not?</i>

That’s me, right now. Confused. Take a look at the purse below…fendibagit.jpg

Yeah, take a good hard look. This is from Fendi’s autumn/winter line, and I don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say it’s one of the most disgusting things ever created.  I mean look at it. I know black lace is back in this season, but my god. Lace AND fur AND red shiny handle? What the hell is going on?

See, this is what I mean when I say it takes a great deal of skill to be different and still somewhat tasteful and classy. This purse does not cut it. Fendi, I am mad at you. I don’t want to be your friend anymore. Stop calling me.

But… but… ok… look at <i>this</i>…:
fendirabbitfur.jpg

This is also from Fendi’s fall collection, although you wouldn’t believe it from the example up there. Just look at that… soft white rabbit fur, perfect for the Russian look that is coming back in. Yes, white is not the most practical of colours, especially not in winter… but isn’t that what’s so gorgeous about it? It’s pure luxury. Luxury is what we expect from Fendi.

And just like that, I am head over heels in love with Fendi again. And this is it, true love… until the next time we fight.
