First off, let me say how much I love bags called ’shoppers’. The name is so cute and old fashioned and old ladyish – so when that name is matched with a label as cutting-edge as Donna Karan it’s very taking.

Now, the bag itself is pretty sweet. It’s made of nylon, with leather straps and silver hardware, with the DKNY links hanging seductively against the rustly ruche.

A bag that is understated in colour and anything but understated in style, it’s a great daytime bag for when you know you need a little extra room for, say, make up, or a secret purchase – but don’t want to risk a super-nice suede purse in the rain.
