It’s that time of year… again!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls… may we present the 2007 Fall Coach Patchwork Gallery Tote!
Made of the signature jacquard fabric, this tote also features signature lurex fabric, ocelot print, suede, metallic leather and printed python.
As per usual, there are inside pockets, feet so the base of the purse doesn’t get scuffed and a zip-top closure – but you don’t really want to hear about that, do you?
All that really counts is that a) it is Fall so that means the holiday season is almost upon us and b) it’s the Coach Patchwork!
Love it or hate it, The Patch is here and it is here to stay!

Classy Coach!
It’s not hard to love Coach when they remember what they are good at and create purses that are so classy and so enticing.
The purse pictured is the Coach Ergo Signature Crossbody, a lovely jacquard-fabric bag with leather trim. Like most Coach purses it comes with plenty of inner pockets to stash your goodies, and the closure is a very practical zip-top which is a comfort, especially in the city.

Coach Holiday Patchwork Tote
Yes, it’s that time of year again – the holidays are upon us and you know what that means – the new Coach Holiday Purse!
This year’s version seems a lot more subdued than last year’s, somehow. It still has that little bit of zebra print in there, but somehow it’s not quite such a bizarre mix of patterns and colours as before.
Made in a patchwork of the signature jacquard fabric, this very roomy tote is great for sneaking Christmas presents into the house.

Coachy Bug
This delicately-lilac purse is the Coach Soho Optic Signature Applique Pouch – possibly the longest name ever for a purse.
It’s made of the Coach jacquard fabric, with a standard zip closure and hardy inner lining.
It’s so obviously a springtime purse – hence the adorable little ladybug applique. The purse is also available in silver – which as a bumblebee applique instead.
It’s a classic Coach purse, perfectly seasonal and shimmeringly pretty.

Coach Of The Jungle
Looks like Coach has Jungle Fever!
Now this purse, I like. It’s funky and cute and very very retro-chic.
All major points.
Now, as much as I DO approve of this bag, I will not – unlike Coach HQ – go so far as to say it is PERFECT with every outfit, day or night – because it quite obviously is not.
Is that a bad thing? No. It’s more like a completely irrelevant thing, because what on earth kind of purse would go with every outfit, day or night – don’t you dare say the Coach Holiday Patchwork!
I’ll tell you what kind of purse would go with everything all the time – the sort of miracle purse that has yet to be invented.
When it is invented, I promise you you’ll hear it here first.
Anyway, the purse pictured is the deliciusly-named Zebra Taffy from Coach, a canvas purse with leather lining and a zip closure.

Coach Vader
I didn’t know it was possible for a straw tote to look evil, but apparently I was mistaken.
What we have here is the Coach Legacy Straw Tote in large - just a simple straw tote with leather trim and the usual cellphone / key / wallet pockets.
I like this tote, strange-looking as it may be, because it looks perfect for a understated gym bag, or beach bag, or baby-nonsense-carrying bag. One of those all-purpose bags that won’t clash with your outfit and won’t scream its presence to the world.
With one little Coach tag on display, it really is a lovely designer sling-along.

The Patch Is Back!

Now, a while back ArmCandy featured a now infamous purse from Coach – the Coach Holiday Patchwork. You might remember a comment or two about the the good ole’ Coach team and eggnog… well, you read the rest.
Anyway, it turns out that just about everybody loved that purse!
Case in point: Boxing Day, 2005. I was in a Target in Valencia CA, accompanying a very handsome gentleman friend who was returning a Christmas gift.
Idly scanning all the purses people were carrying, I suddenly noticed that the woman to our right was carrying the Coach Holiday purse.
“Look!” I hissed, nudging him. “It’s that Coach purse!” Recognising it, Gentleman Friend nodded before turning his attention back to TargetPerson.
I then glanced idly to woman on our left – and lo and behold, she too was carrying the exact same bag!
“Look!” I hissed again. “It’s that same bag again!”
He saw it, and looked surprised, as well he might.
“How much do you want to bet that we see three before we leave here?” I joked. Of course, I didn’t think there was the slightest chance of that happening.
…Except it did.
Five minutes later, we’re walking out and there in one of the aisles was yet another woman with the Coach Holiday purse.
Needless to say, I was floored. I don’t know what the odds of that are, but it was weird. Obviously you guys just loved that purse – and well, the point of that little story is: it’s back!

Yes, the Coach patchwork design is back and this time I can give it my wholehearted blessing.
Made of a sateen cotton with signature jacquard and the Coach logo, the patchwork is a beautiful spring design – bright and jazzy and pretty and cool.

Pretty In Soho
This colour, right here, is the perfect shade of spring time pink — a slightly dusky, soft, powdery pink that just begs to be touched.
The purse itself is the Soho Hobo from Coach — a delicate suede bag with leather trim, an adjustable strap and standard hobo tassels.
It’s a lovely little purse, perfect for a casual yet very stylish daytime look. Just another beautiful purse from the Coach collection!
