Sweet Sweet Dior
This sticky-looking purse is the Dior Cannage Vinyl Medium Polochon, a lovely, sturdy little leather bag with vinyl coating and silver hardware.
The reason this purse was described as sticky-looking is because it has an uncanny resemblance to a large chunk of delicious toffee.
And if sweet toffee doesn’t do it for you, it’s also available in black for a saucier s&m look!
Everyone’s a winner!

Dior For The Dad
This very unassuming little thing is the Dior Homme Classic 3 Card Holder, the latest in ArmCandyGirl’s list of Father’s Day gift ideas.
Made of canvas with a soft leather interior, it’s big enough to fit three different cards in three different card slots.
Although perfect for Father’s Day, there are very few women who wouldn’t be thrilled with such a swanky little card holder!

Romantic Dior
We’re returning to classic, feminine Dior today with this purse.
It’s the Trotter Romantique Medium Frame Tote, a beautiful leather and canvas bag with silver hardware and zipper closure.
The style is very old-fashioned – especially the gorgeously vintage frame clasp. Design-wise, I haven’t seen a more clever purse in a while – it could so eaily have turned out old-ladyish and dull, with the bow and clasp and beigy colour.
But, this is Dior – and they’ve created a purse that is old-timey without being boring or dusty. There’s absolutely no reason a twenty-year-old girl couldn’t carry this purse – although there is a danger her grandmother might permanently borrow it!
Elegant and pretty, this is timeless, classic, feminine Dior for the summertime.

Dior Rebel
How gorgeous is this purse from Christian Dior?
Don’t even answer that, I know what you’re thinking – it’s really, really gorgeous.
It’s not a pretty bag, or overly girly – instead, we have a lovely urban (yet very chic) handbag that is just perfect for girls who like their femininity understated.
It’s called the Rebel Leather and Suede Tote – and basically, it’s a tote made of – yep – leather and suede. But not any old leather, and not any old suede. It’s the butteriest of buttery calf skin leather, and the softest of soft suede. The front has the classic Dior buckle. The lining is also suede, with plenty of pockets and classic silver hardware.
It just comes back to that one word: gorgeous. A serious purse-lovers purse!

And The Winner Is!
Christian Dior, courtesy of Best Actress winner Ms Reese Witherspoon, seen here wearing a Vintage Dior dress.
Now, not everyone is a fan of this dress, it must be said. More than a few rather harsh words have been printed about her taste and about how a whole team of stylists couldn’t tell her how to dress for her figure.
To them I say: who cares. There are so few times in a girls life that she gets to dress up like a princess and be treated like one – and a big fancy pants awards ceremony is one of them. So what if she looks like a wedding cake? It’s adorable!
And besides, did you see what Charlize Theron was wearing? I leave it to you.
Anyway, Dior. They have had a fantastic year so far – their Spring collection is absolutely gorgeous, they represent old-school quality and femininity, their label is more coveted by the day – and, best of all, they were the label on the best actress winner at the Academy Awards.
You have to hand it to them!
And you have to hand it to la Witherspoon – she didn’t make any demands from Dior in exchange for wearing one of their dresses on the red carpet – and let’s face it, as a best actress nominee she could have named her price. No, she went out there, found a dress, made some changes to it, and voila. Vintage Dior! Fantastic.

Which leads us to this very lovely purse here: it’s the
Dior D’Trick Jacquard Flap Clutch, made of leather trim, gold hardware, and classic jacquard logo print. The purse was designed as a homage for the timeless elegance of Old Hollywood, which makes it just perfect to round this week off.
Absolutely gorgeous!

Christian Snow
I love messenger bags – they are lovely purse-alternatives on days where you’re being just a little more active than usual, but don’t want to lugging a backpack around.
This right here is the Diorissimo Small Messenger bag from Christian Dior, and it’s something of a failure as far as messenger bags go.
Why?
Well, it’s just too pretty. We’re looking at a satiny jaccquard canvas with the Dior logo, creamy leather trim and silver hardware. It’s a very lux, very covetable purse – and entirely unsuitable as a messenger. Messengers are meant to be cute, not this gorgeous.
Unless of course you’re just pretending to be busy… in which case it really is perfect.
Now, white purses are like white coats… extremely high maintenance – and extremely worth it. A real diamond of a purse from Christian Dior.

Hell In A Hand Basket
There are some trends that are only ever appropriate at short, contained times of the year – perhaps a day at Christmas, another at Valentines, two weeks in late summer, and so on. This is because these particular trends have an extremely limited shelf life – which is why anyone wearing a sweater with a giant snowman on it will look slightly silly at anytime other than Festivus.
As far as raffia is concerned, there is only one place it is acceptable and that is the Caribbean. On vacation. And that is it.
The bag pictured here is a pretty nice bag, really. It’s the Wicker and Raffia Large Tote from Christian Dior, and it’s made of – yes – wicker and raffia – with jacquard lining and calfskin trim. All in all a quite respectable tote if you are somewhere where most of the goods around you are similarly made of wicker and/or tote.
Otherwise, I’m afraid it’s just not going to cut it.
Welcome to the Caribbean, love!

Vintage Dior
This unusual little bag is the Vintage Flowers Sports Messenger from Christian Dior.
It’s made of jacquard fabric with a canvas strap and satin lining – the hardware is silver and it has lovely little Dior charms hanging from it.
The design of the purse is very interesting — the background is just the Dior logo in muted brown against soft white. If this is all there was to the purse, it would have turned out rather boring — almost a pale Louis Vuitton imitation.
The gaudy flowers over that design are what make this purse so unique — it really shouldn’t work so well, but somehow it does – the contrast is charming.
Very soft and girly, it’s a beautiful vintage offering from Dior.

Lady D
We are in the midst of a rather bitter winter at the moment, so it’s always a pleasure to rest eyes on anything even vaguely comforting. Now there are many different levels of comfort — anything from being reminded of warmer climes to being reminded of a warm bed.
Now, this lovely purse — the Lady Dior Mini Cannage Bag — is definitely on the latter end of the scale, with its cushiony vintage cannage embroidery and uber-soft calfskin leather. The fat little handles will be easy on your poor winter-chapped hands, or perhaps you would prefer to use the shoulder strap and keep your hands well undercover?
Whichever way you choose, I’m more than certain you’d be happy with this darling purse, it’s just so warm and inviting.
And I bet you thought I liked it just because it was pink! Oh, ye of little faith…
