This is the Burberry Novacheck shoulder bag, a classic Burberry purse made of lovely cotton canvas with leather trim and gold hardware.
This is, of course, one of the most widely recognised prints out there - but it really is such a cute little thing. With most Burberry purses, if it’s has the classic Burberry check it really does look much nicer on smaller vs large bags - the print is much more classy on a smaller surface.

SoCal Juicy
Sometimes, words are completely superfluous when it comes to appreciating a purse - and really, this feels like one of those days.
What we have here is the Morea Palm Tree Beach Tote from - take a wild guess! - yep! - Juicy Couture!
All the usual suspects are present and accounted for: terrycloth fabric, tassels, Juicy charms, leather handle, pockets galore, silver hardware and, of course, a beautiful, funky design.
It really is just a fabulous tote - beach tote, work tote, summer tote, whatever tote - take it anywhere.
Eye Candy at it’s very finest!

Savannah Spade
This purse is very, very cute.
It’s the Moremi Miranda from Kate Spade, a giraffe-tastic cotton twill fabric purse with leather trim and gold hardware.
Now I did say cotton twill, not giraffeskin leather - just in case there was any confusion there. After all, we’ve had anaconda and goat, so giraffe wouldn’t be too surprising!
Anyway - it has a zip closure at the top, but it does only come in the one colour you see here. It’s a very edgy, hip purse and quite a change from the last Kate Spade puffball we featured, but definitely your standard Kate Spade purse in terms of quality and funk!

Who Framed Lulu Guinness?
Here’s another very very sweet purse with a bug motif going on:
It’s the Lady Bug Bethany from Lulu Guinness (who else?), a lovely yellow suede sholder bag with an old-fashioned magnet lock and a very fifties-style polka dot on the opening.
You can see the adorable lady bugs (or ladybirds, as they are known in England) on the front.
The whole polka dot trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon, and I have seen very few purses that adapt it in such a nice way - it’s not ALL dots, just enough to give popular fashion a knowing little nod.
All in all a gorgeous little cartoony purse - so very very Lulu Guinness!

Marc Attack!
Looks like those crazy kids at Marc Jacobs have been going a little crazy with the art supplies - as you can see from this rather bizarre looking purse.
It’s the Smudge Print Core Canvas Fran Bag, a sort of totish shoulder bag made of canvas with a leather trim and brass hardware.
It’s pretty funky looking, if a little self-consciously so, and extremely durable.
Somehow, I see either a very young arty lass carrying this purse, or a very old oil-painter dame.
It’s colourful but not bright, so a very nice alternative to some of the more brash colours we have adorning the boutiques.
Really this sort of purse is perfect for summer sunshine, simply because the sun does tend to make everything look that little bit better…
Possibly not for everyone, but for the people with whom it does fit, it will be just perfect!
