I like the name of this bag almost as much as I like the bag itself.

Choo Clee
It’s been a while since we’ve had a nice slinky evening bag, so here we go!
This is the Clee Evening Bag from Jimmy Choo - a shimmery soft grey satin purse with gold hardware and the sort of press-close flap that was far more common with the older, more vintage purses… like the first purse you took out of your mother’s closet and played dress up with.
It’s a very elegant and ladylike purse with a twist - the handle is a little thicker than is standard for evening-wear and it has those cute little blue charms to catch the eye in a flash of colour.
Perfect to take to a wedding reception, or any kind of summer springtime soiree…

For all you mommies or prospective mommies out there, this purse is perfect.
It’s the Diaper Messenger Bag from Juicy Couture - a soft little bag that can also be magically converted into a backpack.
And the best part? It’s totally baby-proof!

Rose Of Valentino
Now this is quite an unusual purse.
At first glance it seemed very old-fashioned, but on further inspection it’s far more vintage chic than dated - and this is in no small part down to the stunning leather and detailed design.
It’s the Embroidered Floral Hobo from Valentino, a purse that is both modern and cutting-edge as well as quaint and old-timey. It’s made of soft white leather with gold hardware and intricate stitching.
It’s a very darling little purse, one that a grandmother and granddaughter could share without batting an eyelash - apart from the very bling Valentino, ‘V’, of course - but then even grandmothers seem to be rocking the bling these days!
Very bright and edgy and stylish and pretty, and very Valentino.

Slouchy Dooney
Here’s another delicious purse from Dooney & Bourke’s Signature Quilt collection:
It’s the Small Stretch Slouch, a lovely powdery blue coloured purse with leather trim and an adjustable buckly leather strap.
The whole Quilt collection is gorgeous just because of the many many many colours there are to choose from - pinks and yellows and blues, all tasteful and bright and just so youthful and fun.
I’m starting to think Dooney can’t put a foot wrong - a cute, funky, hardy little purse that is the perfect size for daytime singing and swinging…

Bartley’s Bananas
Bananas make me laugh.
They are a funny shaped fruit in a funny colour and monkeys chomp on them. Yes, bananas are very funny - and that is one of many reasons why this purse got a firm hold of my attention.
It’s the Leather Satchel With Charms from Miss Luella Bartley - a glossy black leather purse with silver hardware and gorgeous little charms hanging off it.
Now the banana charm you know of, and can see quite clearly - but there’s also an adorable anchor charm of the type that usually only graces bulging sailor- biceps.
A heart charm completes the look (really, could any charm-object be complete without a heart charm?), with more leather hearts adorning the sides of the purse.
It’s a very Luella-ish purse in the sense that it’s edgy and funky with a strong, almost wacky sense of fun and amusement about it.

Juicy Surfing
We’re back to the beach again with Juicy Couture!
The purse pictured is technically a tote, but comes across far more like a drawstring pouch than anything else. It’s the Daydreamer Terry Tote from Juicy Couture, made of Juicy terry with gold hardware, cotton lining and a leather trim.
It’s a funky, eye-catchingly delicious bag, and all the Juicy-isms are very much on display:
Pockets? Check. Cool Juicy print on the front? Check. Bright colours? Check.
Beautiful in the pink and green or in the pink and brown, this is one purse that is going to make the summer so much more fun.

Vuitton Charms
Louis Vuitton have just brought out their new Monogram Charm collection in time for spring - a collection that is somehow quite Dooney in appearance.
The purse pictured is the Louis Vuitton Musette - a gorgeous silk print under vinyl with leather trim and gold and brass hardware.
Very cute and compact for day time wear, it’s not immediately recognisable as a Louis Vuitton thanks to the absence of the classic LV logo that is usually all over most of their purses.
Definitely one of the more covet-y, pretty little purses this spring!
